To ensure the rental process is uncomplicated for both sides, you should bring the following: * Resident in Switzerland for at least **2 years** (no newcomers) * Extract from the debt enforcement register (min. 2 years) without entries * Solid financial circumstances * Valid private liability insurance (**mandatory**) * no pets allowed * Reliability, care, and respectful conduct towards the apartment and the neighbors **Rental deposit** A **rental deposit account will be opened at the Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB)**.
