Room in a shared flat

The room (about 15 m2) has a queen-size bed, a big wardrobe and a height-adjustable desk with a monitor, and it looks onto the green courtyard.

The flat has a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, one bathroom with a bathtub, and two balconies: one off the living room and a big corner one off the kitchen. It is located on Wallisellenstrasse in Oerlikon, 7 minutes by bus from the station. Trams 7 and 9 to the city center and universities are a 10-minute walk (or a 4-minute bus ride), and there's a green path along a canal right behind the house, perfect for runs.

I'm the other tenant: Matteo, 31, from Rome, doing a PhD in Economics at UZH. I like animals, music (anything from soundtracks to reggaeton), sports (football, tennis, running) and a good series or movie night. My girlfriend lives abroad and visits regularly, and I travel quite a bit too.

I'm hoping to find someone around 25-35 (PhD student, young professional or master's student) who's friendly and easygoing, and up for a chat and the occasional dinner, movie or match together.

Important Info:

• Rent: CHF 1,100/month, all included (utilities, electricity, fast Wi-Fi, Serafe)
• Available: from November 1 (mid-November also works)
• Contract: starts as a 4-month sublet, with the aim of extending it and eventually joining the main lease
• Furniture: to be taken over from my previous flatmate for CHF 1,500 (the bedroom furniture plus half of the shared furniture)
• 2nd floor, no lift; dishwasher, private cellar, shared bike room and laundry room
• Heads-up: there's construction work across the street at the moment, but the flat is very well insulated, and even with the windows open it's not very loud
• No pets, unfortunately
