Room in a shared flat

Hi all,

My flatmate is moving out so the two of us are looking for a person to take over her subtenancy in a lively and cheerful two-person apartment that both you and I can continue building a place we enjoy being part of.

We have, to our disposal a cozy living room, a renovated kitchen, and a small balcony, bike room, cellar. The place is bright, calm, pretty cozy, and well-connected by public transport (Zehntenhausplatz 6 min walk) – perfect for a comfortable home. The building is intended to be demolished end of October 2027 but we await if there will be an extension since the house is in good shape.

The flat is fully furnished, and the room has furniture available to buy: a 90×200 bed and mattress, along with a table, chair, and wardrobe space are available to discuss. Photos of the room will be uploaded in a few days.

Cleanliness, hygiene and a sociable environment we both look forward to coming back to are of utmost importance.

I’m now looking for a flatmate who’s cheerful, lively, clean, and enjoys a friendly and relaxed home atmosphere. Someone who values shared moments (like cooking, chatting after work, or watching a film together). Smoking is a no-go. If you like being in bed by 22:00 or a fully quiet apartment, we might not be an ideal match.

A bit about me: I’m Bev (29/M) lived in Zürich for over five years; love good food, hikes, occasional dance parties, salsa, bachata, now Lindy hop and spontaneous evenings with music/movies/ board games or friends. I like keeping the apartment tidy and cozy, and I’m always up for good conversation or the occasional hot choco/wine night.
