Room in a shared flat

The room
The room gets lots of natural light throughout the day. It comes furnished with a bed frame, mattress, desk, chair and a small cabinet, which you can take over from the current tenant if you like, or bring your own things. Just outside the door are two large closets for extra storage.

The flat
The flat is a spacious, sunny duplex loft on the 4th floor, with a lift, and about 2.0 m² of living space. The big kitchen and living room are where we cook, chat and unwind after work. The flat has parquet and stone floors and a fireplace for cosy winter evenings.
The highlight is our 250 m² rooftop terrace, with views over the whole city and the Uetliberg. In summer it’s the place for BBQs, sunset drinks and the occasional open-air movie night.
There’s also a large workshop. It’s perfect if you love bikes or, like us, tend to collect and repair sports gear.

Who we are

• Jake is a physicist from the UK who loves the outdoors and makes a mean polenta.
• Ivor is from Croatia and starts his days on the tennis court before heading off to his job in insurance.

We’re easygoing and respectful of each other’s space, but we also love bumping into each other in the kitchen or living room for a chat, and we cook together every now and then. We’re looking for someone friendly and open who’d enjoy being part of a relaxed, sociable flat.
